Sunday, November 9th
UMichigan Tour (1:00 - 4:00 pm)
This pre-conference SYIS event includes a tour of the University of Michigan for students and young investigators to explore key campus landmarks, core facilities, and BME labs. There will be transportation provided to and from the campus. The event is free of cost, but registration for a ticket is required to attend.

Monday, November 10th
SYIS Networking Event (8:00 - 9:00 pm)
The SYIS networking event is a social gathering and evening of fun for students and young investigators at the conference. There will be a welcome reception with drinks provided during the event. Registration for a ticket during the conference sign-up is required to attend. If you registered previously, please contact nutugen@kenes.com for RSVP.
Tuesday, November 11th
SYIS Student Meet Mentor Lunch (12:00 - 1:30 pm)
As the signature SYIS event at TERMIS conferences, the Student-Meet-Mentor Luncheon provides students and young investigators the opportunity to enjoy a seated lunch with senior faculty and scientists working in the fields of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. Mentors will include session chairs, TERMIS faculty members, and local industry leaders. Registration for a ticket during the conference sign-up is required to attend. Ticket fee is 10USD. Wednesday, November 12th
SYIS Career Panel Discussion (1:00 - 2:00 pm)
The Career Panel discussion will include young professionals representing careers in both academic and non-academic TERM sectors, such as industry, government, publishing, or biomedical start-ups. The theme will be around Unconventional Pathways to Careers in Regenerative Medicine. In addition to a moderated discussion, the panel will include a Q&A portion where attendees may ask panelists about their career paths and experiences.

SYIS Session Co-Chairs
SYIS attendees will have the opportunity to build their experience in moderating scientific sessions and network with faculty members involved in TERMIS. Sign-up is available here FORM, and the deadline is October 12th.
SYIS Programming Co-Chairs
As a Programming Co-Chair, SYIS attendees will have the opportunity to take on a leadership role and work with the SYIS committee to run their designated event at the conference. POSITIONS FILLED.
